Aww, Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I am so excited! I just love Valentine's Day. It's so romantic and especially because we always plan something special just for us. And of course I have to milk it starting with the weekend prior. We are planning on hanging out at our local favorite bakery, Amy's Bakery in Montebello on Saturday morning. We love their scones there. Later on towards the afternoon we will be hanging out @ the beach, either Belmont Shores or Balboa Island on Saturday. We will be doing some window shopping (yeah right!), food + cocktails= FUN, strolling around and just hanging out together. I'm not sure if we will have the energy to catch a movie later on in the evening...We'll see. There are so many restaurants for us to try out so that should be FUN. Sunday we plan to go to the Costa Mesa Market Place (which we love) and the rest of the day...Perhaps back to the beach. It should be a nice weekend so I am certainly looking forward to it. We never really make reservations for dinner on the actual day. We kind'a just play it by ear. We enjoy old town Pasadena so much that I think we might head down there early enough to beat the crowds (& possibly get the senior discount aka early bird special) LOL.
Whatever it is we end up doing I am just happy to be with my wonderful hubby, Tony.
