Happy Thoughts

• Mom will be back home this Thursday. I am so excited to have her back. I am sure she will be down for a long time but I hope I can spend as much time with her and perhaps somehow lift her spirits. I did miss her...Especially going to church with her on Sundays, which by the way T and I have been going, except that he is not interested in going to the mall or to Target afterwards. I can't blame him. Anyway, we are going to have mom's car ready for her-washed, oil change and whatever else it might need. Flowers will be waiting for her--for sure.
• Pretty tired today since I stayed up late way passed by bedtime last night. I had a chance to catch up with the guys and spend some time b-s'ing since we hadn't for a while. We even did some wine testing...Believe it ;-P
• I am so proud of my cousin Liz because she is graduating from college this weekend. You go girl! Andreas too, is graduating in 2 weeks from culinary school. You go girl...you did it! You rock! Now, get in the kitchen WOMAN!
• I love my new tile in the kitchen. Sooo pretty!
• Tony's birthday is next Tuesday, 5/16. We will, of course be having a BBQ for him. He'd rather do that than go out to dinner...Plus he LOVES our backyard.
  
• I got back on the treadmill yesterday and boy did I sweat like a PIG...yuk.
• I cannot believe how fast time flies. 12 years ago I got married and all my friends and family were there to celebrate with us. What a great time we had! I am very happy to still be surrounded by them.
