and i always thought...

and i always thought that mom prefered to eat mexican food. after all this time i just figured out that mom prefers to eat american food to mexican food. duh! mom is always one to go with the flow and not be picky about where we go eat. she hates to impose on anyone. i picked her up today after work and after i got my car washed and i asked her to pick the restaurant. of course she says it doesn't matter, it's up to me, yada yada yada. i said mexican or burgers at chili's? she says with hesitation, where's chilis? i'm sure she is asking me this because she wants to make sure it's not out of the way (she is too funny). i say, it's next door to where we're going. she says, ok then let's have burgers. i've always knowns she loves burgers but i've always assumed that she felt more comfortable and preferred mexican food. i asked her about it later and she said that she enjoys american food because all she has during the week is mexican. i guess i should have known.

well we've completed our order at lowe's and she should have the shutters installed early october. she is so exicted! it took so long to finalize the order but once we were done it was worth it because the manager ended up giving us 12 month no finance charge. we didn't ask him for it, for some reason he just gave it to us. we scored, that's for sure! after lowe's we went to target (my fave store) and checked all the odds and ends...tired and $100 later, next stop starbucks of course. i was gald to catch up with her and all the latest gossip and LOL, of course. we are continuing our mommy and me outing tomorrow to catch an afternoon matinee and some mall shopping in the morning. now off to bed i go to get some rest.
