is it friday yet?

we had another great weekend. i spent some time with mom, went to dinner with t at the grove and did a lot of people watching and crate and barreling too. i was very productive at home and got some chores done and cleaned out some old items to donate. we also watched the premier of deadwood and i was very excited even though it's somewhat hard to follow the show. it just seemed like they had a million stories going on...hmm reminds me of sopranos. i got dad some really nice ray ban sunglasses for father's day which i know he is just going to love. i can't wait until he opens the gift...he is going to faint! i've got some gardening planned for saturday morning and then perhaps dinner and a movie afterwards, but is there a good movie to watch?

it's been so hectic and crazy at work. this was nate's last week and he was let go yesterday. i was very sad to see him leave but in the end it was the right thing for him. i could tell he had it with this place. i guess i have just learned to accept the challenges and move forward. i didn't get a chance to say bye so i called him and he actually answered my call. it appears that dave will be here perhaps longer that he had planned. ironically, i had lunch with my ex-coworker joe at charlie brown's yesterday. i was very excited to see him again since it had been such a long time. he is the same ol' joe, loud and obnoxious. i am happy to see he and his family are doing well.

i've only been to the gym once this week. i am quickly losing interest in it but my waist line doesn't agree with me. instead t and i went to dinner in monrovia with some more free money.
